Baked Oak & Cherry Wood Spindle

This spindle was hand carved, with traditional methods & tools, from Oak & Cherry wood foraged from Dartmoor.
The wood has been baked giving it that deep brown fade. Through the baking process the grain moved more than I'd have hoped so there is a slight curve to this particular spindle, though it does not effect the functionality I find that it spins best against the leg rather than drop style. I've lowered the price of this one bearing that in mind.
