Cedar Temple Harmony Flute in F/Bb 432Hz
Hand carved from a single Y-branch of Western Red Cedar that I found floating along the river Dart one magical day on the moors ago.
This flutes tuning is inspired by an ancient mayan clay flute that dates back over 2,000 years ago! This sonic wand sings with trance inducing harmonies as the two chambers, tuned 5ths apart, weave and intertwine their melodies. It has a warm, woody and clear timbre with balanced back pressure and a stable fundamental notes.

The block is carved from a piece of the same branch, mounted atop of an oak block and end grain Pine foot. This pine base absorbs moisture when you play, meaning that the flute will play for longer periods of time before 'wetting out' from moisture blocking the windway. The block is tied on with suede leather & adorned with cedar wood beads.
Coated with 2 cured layers of naturally polymerising oil varnish to protect the wood whilst retaining the natural feel of the branch.
