Eastern Hemlock Branch Flute In Ab 432Hz
£170.00
Hand carved with traditional tools from a branch of Eastern Hemlock found in my local woodland. This flute is tuned to the Key of Ab (to 432Hz A) and she sings with a deep and woody timbre, balanced back pressure you can really lean into and a stable fundamental note.

The block is carved from Oak wood mounted atop of an end grain Pine foot which absorbs moisture when you play. This means that the flute will play for longer periods of time before 'wetting out' from moisture blocking the windway.
The block is tied on with leather and adorned with Hazel wood beads.
Coated in 2 layers of natural polymerising oil varnish to protect the wood whilst retaining the organic feel of the branch.
