Sylvestris Pine Branch Flute in Ab 432Hz
Hand carved with traditional tools from the bones of a Scots Pine tree foraged from the coast of Cornwall. This flute is tuned to the Key of Ab (to 432Hz A) and she sings with a remarkably crisp and clear timbre with balanced back pressure and a stable fundamental note.

The block is carved from a rare piece of Laburnum wood mounted atop of an end grain Pine foot which absorbs moisture when you play. This means that the flute will play for longer periods of time before 'wetting out' from moisture blocking the windway.
The block is tied on with leather, adorned with Bulgarian mountain-top Pine beads with 2 found Green woodpecker tail feathers.
Coated in a layer of cured oil to protect the wood whilst retaining the organic feel of the branch.
