Hazel Wood Turkish Drop Spindle

These uniquely designed spindles are used to turn raw fibre into yarn through the magical art of hand spinning!

They are easy to learn on and their fold up design means you can easily take it with you anywhere. What I love most about these styles of spindles in comparison to the traditional style is that you wind on your yarn in a simple pattern which allows you to create a ball of yarn that can be unspooled from both ends. This means that you can create 2-ply yarn from one ball all on the same spindle.

Hand carved from Hazel wood with a small metal hook for ease of catching the yarn and starting. These spindles are hand made & made-to-order so each will be slightly different and unique in their appearance but identical in their performance.
