Eucalyptus Bass Branch Flute in Eb

Hand carved with traditional tools from the bones of a Eucalyptus tree foraged from my local woodlands. This flute is tuned to the low Key of Eb (to 432Hz A) She wings with a very warm and deeply soothing timbre, with balanced back pressure and a stable fundamental note.

The block is carved from Yew wood mounted atop of an end grain Pine foot which wicks away moisture when you play through capillary action. This means that the flute will play for much longer periods of time before 'wetting out' from moisture blocking the windway.

Tied on with leather thong and adorned with Oak beads.

This flute has been coated in multiple layers of a cured natural oil varnish to protect the wood whilst retaining the organic feel of the branch.
