This hand carved drop spindle is made to order from reclaimed Devonshire Oak.

Spins like a dream with a medium weight between 35-45g. If you'd like a specific weight please just let me know upon ordering :)

Turkish drop spindles are my preferred had spindle due to the flat pack design that fits in a pocket + they wind on with a simple repeating pattern which creates a ball of yarn that unspools from both ends. This means you can easily make 2-ply yarn from one ball of single spun on the same spindle. Happy to share some more info on this just send me a message.
