Sycamore Branch Flute in G 432Hz

Hand carved from Sycamore tree bones, this flute is tuned to the Key of G (to 432Hz A). This sonic wand sings with a warm, woody and clear timbre with balanced back pressure and a stable fundamental note.

The block is carved from rare laburnum wood, mounted atop of an end grain Pine foot which absorbs moisture when you play. This means that the flute will play for longer periods of time before 'wetting out' from moisture blocking the windway. The block is tied on with suede leather & adorned with Hazel beads.

Coated with linseed oil and beeswax to protect the wood whilst retaining the natural feel of the branch.
